Biology is simply the study of life and living organisms. It is a term derived from the Greek word βίος, bios meaning "life" and the suffix -λογία, -logia or -logos meaning "study of." It involves the study of organism including their structure, function, growth, origin, evolution, distribution, and classification. Biology encompasses numerous field and it is an interesting field of study with various applications to human life. The father of Biology is Aristotle (384 BC – 322 BC).
